Biography

Dr. Agnes Ju Chang is a board-certified dermatologist and is the medical director of Integrated Dermatology.  

She attended Duke University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. During her time at Duke University, she fell in love with the field of medicine. She found that she could combine her love of basic sciences with the desire to make an impact in people’s lives. She attended medical school at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and completed her multi-disciplinary medicine internship at Northwestern University.  Her dermatology residency was at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center and she served as Chief Resident. As Chief Resident, she taught medical student and was an important liaison between the department of dermatology and resident physicians’ affairs.  She has presented complex medical cases at the Chicago Dermatologic Society and at the American Academy of Dermatology Meetings.

Dr. Chang is a native of Chicago and practiced as a leading dermatologist in southwest Chicagoland, where her practice focus was primarily skin cancer detection and treatment. She served her patients for several years before relocating to the Washington DC area in 2008.

Dr. Chang believes in establishing a strong relationship with her patients based on trust and open communication. She emphasizes patient education and believes that treatment plans should be individualized to each patient. Her belief is that every patient should be treated with upmost respect and their concerns be heard.  Her vision is to serve and lead the people of the greater Washington DC area with superior dermatology care in a caring, compassionate manner while offering the latest cutting edge technology and treatments.

Dr. Chang is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, and the Washington Dermatologic Society. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.

Her special interests include detection and treatment of skin cancers, moles, acne, and aesthetic procedures, including Botox Cosmetics® and other minimally invasive cosmetic treatments such as Juvederm XC®, Restylane®, Kybella®, Sculptra®, and Fraxel® Laser.

When Dr. Chang isn’t tending to her patients and work, she enjoys pursuing different fitness goals, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
